The first Question that often pops up is this; “what exactly are we discovering?"

Beginning the hiatus of my book ‘Discover it early' opens you up to the multi-faceted dimensions of God as a father and the result of a self resolution to stand out.

Citing a phenomenal man, he wrote; “when the value of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. United Nations last report on the world's population delineated; “there are over eight (8) billion people on the face of planet earth"- 8 billion! How exactly do I stand out by being a red box in a grey world with so many people?!

A huge percent of the millennial today have taken a deep plunge in the wrong pool. But of course there are still a few millennial pulling great strides in their individual niches. ‘Purpose discovery' is your golden ticket to this unending life of impact. Popularity doesn't connote impact. More hours or likes on the social web without necessarily listening to the call of passion ensconced within doesn't exactly translate into impact.

Every individual has that burning call within, calling them to a life of purpose! It could be in Film making, The humanities, Journalism or even Arts in general. “These places are your impact field" like the Lead pastor of Saddle back Church, Rick Warren once spelt out. A call of passion is a call to purpose.

Going back to the question I raised earlier in my book ‘Discover it early', how do you become the only Red box in a world where everyone has a grey box?! My answer is pretty simple - find out your purpose! Every single thing created by God today has a purpose as well a function. So, you were never made to be a part of the ‘regular crowd'.  You've been made for more!

If you ask me my candid thought on the media today I would say the media hasn't really helped in expediting the process of answering this mind bugling question “what Am I on earth for?" A seeming go-to-easy life is portrayed and fed to these young minds through reality T.V and magazines without beaming a spotlight on the underlying tapestry ‘the process'.

A lot more young people feel inadequate, some suffer from complex, others well just try to be anything no matter what in a bid to fit in and catch up with the standard, failing to realize that purpose discovery makes you become the ‘standard' everyone looks up to!

Let me quickly tell you about the man Jeremiah in the Bible.

God called this little lad when he was just eight and clearly told him he was going to be a prophet to nations. Little Jerry at that time cried and complained about how inadequate and little he was, trust me he had every reason to. Ever felt like that or still do? Here is what my amazing father - God said to little Jerry, “...before I formed you I already knew and ordained you a prophet to many nations...". Mark Zuckeberg, Bill Gates, Joyce Meyer, Nick Vujicic, Nelson Mandela, Myles Munroe of blessed memory were never perfect, all they did was open up to Purpose Discovery and today they are a blessing to the world!

Dr. Idahor is such a blessing to this generation. We met while I was still a student at UNIBEN medical school and I must say, he is truly an inspiration to many. I would recommend his book to anyone who wants to leave the world better than they met it.
