yemi osinbajo's new appointment and you.
I came across this news on one of naijas top blogs, and it
caught me. I had a flash back to a question a young man once asked my dad, “why
do the rich get richer and the poor, poorer”
- Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's acting
president has inaugurated the board of the Nigerian Industrial Policy and
Competitiveness Advisory Council - Among the inaugurated members of the council
is Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote and Peterside - The Council is expected
to plan and supervise policies that will speed up Nigeria’s industrialization
bid. Yemi Osinbajo,
Nigeria's acting president has on May 30
inaugurated the board of the Nigerian Industrial Policy and Competitiveness
Advisory Council. The 36-member Council, will be chaired by the acting
president himself.
I read further and noticed that the remaining
34 members are made up of CEOs and managing directors of productive sectors in
the country.
Why were these posts not shared
among the 36 homeless men in Abuja or the 36 beggars on the capital’s streets?
This should leave you thinking.
…….. if you’re still not coming up
with any thought, let me help you…..
